Natan Daskal

CST, CMT, RSMT
Natan (CST, CMT, RSMT) is a craniosacral and massage therapist, and registered somatic movement therapist.

As a lifelong student of the body as a dancer, movement-arts educator, bodyworker and somatic practitioner, Natan is continually amazed and humbled at the intelligence of the human body, it's inherent wisdom, and the innate power it has to heal itself. His work aims to open channels of communication between the body and awareness, supporting clients to more fully inhabit their bodies both during sessions and in their daily lives.

Depending on the needs of the client, in addition to hands on touch, sessions may include guided body meditations, somatic education, and dialogue based in embodied mindfulness to deepen awareness, repattern body habits, and support the healing process.

Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy is a holistic form of hands-on bodywork that addresses the whole person. Using a very light and subtle touch, it is a powerful form of bodywork that supports the body's natural capacity to heal and rebalance itself. Craniosacral therapy treats a wide range of conditions -- emotional, physical, mental and spiritual, and addresses the interplay between them. It can also be an effective treatment to pair with ketamine sessions, often supporting a "coming home," nervous system regulation, deep relaxation, and centered balance in the body-mind.

Natan's massage sessions prioritize relaxation, slowness, and energetic attunement, blending elements of Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage and Shiatsu.

Natan studied Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Body Intelligence, massage at the McKinnon Institute, mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy at the Hakomi Institute of California, and is part of the core faculty at the Tamalpa Institute, an internationally regarded training program in movement-based expressive arts therapy. He also holds a master's degree in Education from Goddard College, where he studied the intersection of somatics, creativity, and education.
