Giancarlo Scherillo is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received his Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. He trained in somatic mindfulness-based psychotherapy from the Hakomi Institute of California and in Ketamine Assisted Therapy with the Polaris Insight Center and with the Sage Institute. He offers individual Ketamine Assisted Therapy and holistic, client centered integration of psychedelic experiences.
Giancarlo specializes in working with communities of color and multicultural, biracial and immigrant populations as well as families and caretakers in the Autism Spectrum community. His approach to healing and transformation is grounded in Transpersonal and Depth oriented perspectives, while using somatic, experiential and mindfulness-based methods. He is skilled in working with attachment issues, intergenerational trauma, PTSD, complex grief, issues of acculturation, spiritual guidance, and relationship issues.
